About our events

Feel relaxed and refreshed and join us for our weekly baby event, where you can socialise, have fun with your baby, and capture special moments with our fun photo set. We understand what it's like to have a new baby, and we're here to try to make it as fun and easy as can be.

Stress-free 'home from home'

We have packed our events with small features that can make a world of difference to your afternoon. Nice people with babies of a similar age, somewhere comfy to sit, somewhere clean to put the baby down, a spare pair of hands or wet wipe if needed and great food & drink available (the Everyman Barnet has the Spielburger restaurant which will deliver to your sofa).

Baby playtime

We LOVE babies. Our BIBS babies are the true VIPS of our events.

Our play areas and toys will inspire and delight even the grumpiest of babies -  from toys that float (foil balloons); toys that rock, roll and rattle; play arches and playmats, we have it all covered.

Baby photos

To make your experience even more special, we create a unique themed photography scene each week, perfect for capturing beautiful photos and milestones of your adorable baby without the hassle of setting it up at home. 

Our event policies

Who can come
  • We welcome all mums, dads, and carers to join us at our baby events!

  • Each ticket covers one baby and up to two adults (connected to the baby)

  • Your little one must be no more than 13 months old.

  • Twins/triplets count as one baby

  • Older siblings over a year old, may come, but for the safety and comfort of smaller babies, we ask that there is a supervising adult per sibling. e.g. a 6 month old and a 3 year old, there would be two adults attending the event.

Accessibility limitation
  • Please note that our event is located on the first floor, and unfortunately, we do not have a lift available.

  • Our friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you with carrying prams and buggies up the stairs, so please don't try and struggle by yourself.

Food and drink
  • Food and drink is not included in the ticket price.

  • You can order delicious food and drinks from the venue's onsite restaurant.

  • Your food will be brought to you where you are sitting.

  • Please try to avoid spilling food onto the play areas.

Photography
  • Our themed photo stage area, is a great way to capture some beautiful memories of your baby using our props and set.

  • To save you time, we try to provide what is needed for the theme that week, but feel free to bring any themed items you would like to include.

  • We ask that you reset the set after use for the next person

  • Everyone should have about 10mins each to have a play with it.

  • We love to see our guests capturing memories at our baby events. You are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use, and we would be delighted if you want to tag us on social media @bibsbabysocials

  • We want everyone to feel comfortable and respected, so please be mindful of others when taking photos. 

  • Please do not use professional equipment or sell or distribute any images or recordings.​

Cancellations and refunds
  • We understand that plans can change, and if you need to cancel your ticket, we accept cancellations up to 48 hours before the event.

  • Where possible, we will endeavour to book you into the next available event.

  • Transfers on the day to another date or person are allowed, but please note that the new attendee will need to register themselves.

Hygiene
  • We have very young babies attending and therefore take hygiene very seriously. We kindly ask that if you or your baby are feeling unwell that you do not attend.

  • We appreciate that sometimes, a baby or an adult may feel well but still have some symptoms like a runny nose or a cough. To protect the other babies, we ask that if you or your baby have any symptoms of sickness that you do not attend. If this is the case contact us, and we may be able to transfer your ticket to another event.

  • For your peace of mind, we ensure that all baby items, toys and play mats are thoroughly cleaned between each event.

  • We ask that you avoid stepping on the playmats, or remove your shoes

  • We understand that babies are naturally messy, but we would appreciate it if you would seek to keep food and drink from spilling onto the play areas.

  • Our changing station is provided for your convenience, and we ask that you please keep it clean and dispose of any nappies in the provided bags.

Play areas
  • We provide a range of toys suitable for babies aged between 0-13 months

  • We ask that you supervise your baby at all times and ensure they are playing safely with the other babies and the toys.

  • If you are having trouble managing your crawler or walker, please let us know, and we will do our best to assist you. 

Conduct
  • We expect all attendees to treat each other with respect and kindness. If anyone behaves inappropriately or disruptively, we reserve the right to remove them from the event without refund.

  • We believe in providing a safe space for new parents. If topics of a sensitive personal nature come up during our events, we encourage you to respect the privacy of the fellow guests, and to consider applying 'Chatham Rules' and not repeating what you may hear outside of our events.

Our content
  • Our content, including logos, photographs and graphics, is our property and cannot be used without our permission.

Use of photographs for BIBS
  • You hereby give permission for (reasonably) non-identifiable group shots of the event happening to be used in BIBS social media and promotional materials. For example taken from far away or from behind attendees so that individual faces aren’t recognisable.

  • We may ask for explicit permission to use photos of you or your baby in our promotional materials in a separate request in the the future.

Liability
  • We want to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time at our baby events!

  • However, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or illness that may occur while attending.

  • By purchasing a ticket, you agree to hold us harmless from any and all claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your attendance.

Finally, please note that we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule our baby events at any time without notice. We will do our best to inform all ticket holders in advance of any changes.

By purchasing a ticket to our baby events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
